The team also completed landscaping, installed bollard lights for the pedestrian path, and passed the final erosion control inspection for Building 1, ensuring the site is stabilized with trees and other plantings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earth Advantage testing has been done for Building 1. Earth Advantage, our third-party verifier, checks that our homes meet high energy efficiency standards. Through the blower door test (which checks for air leaks), inspections of our heat recovery ventilators,  and more, we confirmed that our homes exceed requirements. Here\u2019s what\u2019s on the to-do list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Final trade inspections for Building 2<\/strong> \u2013 Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems will be checked. We may also get Certificates of Occupancy for Building 2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interior work on Building 3<\/strong> \u2013 Inside, we\u2019re wrapping up painting and installing final fixtures, like sinks, faucets, and lighting. If the weather cooperates, we\u2019ll also get the exterior painting done!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Punch list for Building 1<\/strong> \u2013 We\u2019ll be going through these homes with a fine-tooth comb, fixing minor details like paint touch-ups and fit-and-finish adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Homebuyer Build Day<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most exciting parts of the month? Welcoming homebuyers to the site! At least one member of every household attended a special build day in February. These future neighbors worked side-by-side to paint and prime walls, install trim, and prepare their homes for finishing touches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s always nice to see people&#8217;s excitement at looking at their home for the first time,&#8221; said Site Superintendent Ryan Martini. &#8220;As somebody who participated in building the home, it&#8217;s also gratifying to see them sort of build their skill base with with tools, even if it&#8217;s just a drill and a driver. That&#8217;s something that they can use to maintain their home forever.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Construction team anticipates handing over keys to Homeownership in <strong>mid-to-late May<\/strong>.
